Receipts and billing history

Every CX purchase you make is recorded under Settings → Billing → History. From there you can:

  • See every purchase, with date, amount, payment method (last four digits), CX delivered, and processor reference.
  • Click any row to download a PDF receipt with VAT/GST applied where required.
  • Export your entire history as CSV for personal accounting.

What appears on receipts

Camila receipts show:

  • The date and time of the purchase
  • A neutral merchant name and a non-identifying merchant address (Camila's billing entity, not your own city)
  • The total amount and the local tax breakdown
  • The CX you received
  • A unique reference number you can quote to support if anything is off

We deliberately keep the receipt clean of any words that hint at the platform's content category, so it's safe to forward to an accountant or expense system.

VAT, GST, and sales tax

Where required, we collect and remit consumption tax automatically. The rate depends on the country your billing address is in:

  • EU: VAT, country-specific rate (19% Germany, 20% France, 21% Spain, etc.)
  • UK: VAT 20%
  • Australia: GST 10%
  • Canada: GST/HST/PST depending on province
  • US: sales tax in states where required

Tax appears as a line item on the receipt. If you're a business and have a valid VAT/GST number, enter it under Settings → Billing → Tax info and we'll exempt you from VAT going forward (subject to country rules).

Disputing a charge on your statement

If you spot a Camila charge you don't recognise, the very first step is to log in and open Billing → History — the line item there will show the date, last four digits of the card, and the IP address used. If it's not yours, lock the account from Settings → Security → Active sessions and email support@camila.live immediately. We block further charges and refund within 24 hours once we confirm the unauthorised activity.

Exporting for tax season

Click Export CSV at the top of the history page to get every purchase from a given year as a single file. The CSV includes columns suitable for direct import into QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, and most other bookkeeping tools.
