The longer you use Camila, the more your home screen becomes about the models you care about — not the platform-wide trending feed. The way to make that happen is to follow.
How to follow
On any model's profile or in any room, click the ♥ Follow button. You don't need to spend CX to follow — it's free and the model gets a small profile boost when their follower count grows.
You can follow as many models as you want.
What follow gives you
- A live-now indicator at the top of the home page when any model you follow goes online
- An optional push or email notification when they start broadcasting
- A dedicated Following filter so you see only your followed models
- Faster room access — followed rooms remember your last quality setting and chat scroll position
Notification settings
By default, follows are quiet — no email, no browser push. Turn on alerts per-model from the room itself (the bell icon next to Follow) or in bulk under Settings → Notifications.
| Notification type | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Push (browser) | Settings or per-model bell | Desktop / mobile-web notification when she goes live. |
| Settings | A single daily digest at a time you choose, listing who's been live recently. | |
| In-app banner | Always on, can't be disabled | A small bar at the top when any followed model goes live while you're already on Camila. |
We never send marketing emails to viewers without a separate opt-in. If you turn off notifications you'll see exactly zero messages from us until you turn them on again.
Favourites vs Follow
A favourite is a private bookmark — you can use it to organise rooms into a personal list (for example "weekend models", "morning girls", "Spanish-speaking") without the model knowing. A follow is public, and counts on the model's profile. Most viewers use both: follow your top 10, favourite the next 50.
Why some models I followed don't show notifications
A model can opt out of being followed or being notified-about — usually models who only broadcast for a private circle. If you don't see the bell icon next to Follow on a profile, that's why.
