Every stream on Camila adapts to your connection automatically. If you'd rather take control, the gear icon on the player exposes everything.
Quality settings
| Setting | Bitrate (rough) | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Auto | adaptive | The default. We watch your connection and pick the best level it can sustain. |
| HD 1080p | ~5 Mbps | Fast home internet, modern device. |
| HD 720p | ~2.5 Mbps | Most home internet handles this. Best balance. |
| SD 540p | ~1.2 Mbps | Mobile data on a strong signal, or shared WiFi. |
| Low 360p | ~600 kbps | Weak mobile signal, hotel WiFi, train. |
| Audio only | ~64 kbps | When you just want the chat / audio with the camera off — saves data and keeps the stream alive on poor networks. |
We never go above the resolution the model is actually broadcasting in. If a model is streaming in 720p, that's the ceiling for everyone watching, regardless of connection.
Audio out of sync?
Click the gear icon → Re-sync audio. This rebuffers the player and usually fixes drift caused by a network blip. If it persists across multiple rooms it's almost always a device or network issue — try:
- Refresh the page (most reliable fix)
- Switch from WiFi to wired ethernet, or vice versa
- Disable any browser extensions that interfere with media (ad blockers, privacy extensions)
- Restart the browser
If audio is still out of sync after that, see Camera and microphone troubleshooting under Technical.
No audio at all?
Check the speaker icon on the player isn't muted (a slash through it). On iOS Safari, audio sometimes stays muted until you tap the screen once — that's an iOS rule we can't bypass. Tap anywhere on the player to bring audio in.
Picture-in-picture
Most desktop browsers support picture-in-picture (PiP) — the player will show a small icon in the bottom right. Click it to pop the stream into a floating window so you can keep watching while you do other things.
Theater and full screen
Click the rectangle icon to expand the player to "theatre mode" — same width as the page, with chat tucked under it. Click again or press F for full screen. Press Escape to exit.
